Access to the Hotel

This statement has been prepared to help those with disabilities to decide whether our Hotel, Restaurant, and other facilities are accessible to them.

• The Hotel has ground, first and second floors.
• All of our bedrooms are on the first and second floors.
• There is lift access to some bedrooms. The lift is able to accommodate 1 “standard” wheelchair with occupant.
• No bedrooms are specially adapted to wheelchair use.
• Manual assistance with manoeuvring equipment such as wheel chairs to bedrooms, restaurant and Brasserie is available upon prior request.
• Access to the ground floor is available via the terrace with sloped access or via 2 steps through the main entrance.
• We have an accessible restaurant and bar on the ground floor.
• Full waiter/waitress service in bar and restaurants.
• Special dietary requirements can be arranged upon request.
• Porterage assistance is available upon request.
• Fire exits are clearly identified.
• Floors and rooms are clearly identified.
• Audiotape recording of the guest directory, fire precautions and room service menu are available from reception.
• Well-lit corridors.
• Room service is available.
• Remote controlled Audio visual equipment in bedrooms and conference room.
• Tarmac car park with 1 designated space located by sloped access (key available from reception upon request).
• Drop off at front of hotel available for cars/coaches.
• Service dogs are welcome.
• Menus and brochures available in large print or on audiotape on request.
• For people with hearing or speech impairments we are happy to communicate with written notes.
• A telephone with large buttons is available from reception upon request.
• One dedicated toilet in public area accessible to wheelchair users.
• The bus stop is 2 miles from the Hotel. Taxi numbers can be obtained from the Hotel.
• Directions to the hotel are available on our web site.
• Wheelchair hire is available locally with prior notice.
• Heavy door at main entrance.
• Task lighting on request.
• Mobile phone network not available in most areas.
